Media Labels Participants of Christian Worship Event at Idaho State Capitol as ‘Dangerous Activists’
On the day before worship leader Sean Feucht and his Let Us Worship team came to Boise as part of their Kingdom to the Capitol tour, an opinion piece penned and published by the Idaho Statesman editorial board mischaracterized Feucht and those who would attend.

But it appears God is using the paper’s characterization for good. Dangerous good.
The Statesman headline for the piece:
“Keep your religion out of our government. Dangerous activists coming to Idaho Capitol”
One quick look at the 159-year-old paper, and it appears that they are trying to do the work of bonafide journalists. But in the case of the board’s commentary, it’s clear that the editors did not interview the alleged “dangerous activists” or attempt to substantiate the veracity of the characterization.
It is still somewhat shocking for me to see mainstream-type of media be so blatantly biased or simply have such a limited worldview.
First, Feucht doesn’t want “religion” in the U.S. government. Like all followers of Jesus Christ, he is called (or commissioned) to share the Gospel, make disciples, and baptize them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19)
The commission has nothing to do with religion and everything to do with a relationship with God who we come to know through Jesus. The freedom of religion as expressed in the U.S. Constitution is about a freedom of faith, and not a freedom from faith or from religion!
Secondly, the Kingdom to the Capitol tour stop at Idaho’s Capitol Building on July 30, 2023 was not filled with the “dangerous activists” like some would have you believe. BTW, there were a small group of satanists at the event, but their point was mostly muted.
It was a peaceful event where lives and souls were healed and transformed. But, perhaps, it’s a different kind of “dangerous” that really does fit people who clearly follow Jesus. A definition of “dangerous” that Feucht has embraced and perhaps more Christians need to step into as well.
So so so so dangerous. Like unbelievably dangerous. Thanks for the heads up!

National men’s ministry leader and author Kenny Luck, who wrote the book, Dangerous Good – The Coming Revolution of Men Who Care, five years ago, states:
“For the dangerous good, resembling Christ is God’s main goal in your life. … Think of dangerous good community as a refinery where Christ-likeness is forged.”

In a recent tweet, Feucht posted, “More than 12,000 “dangerous” God-fearing, America loving worshipers flooded the capitols in Washington, Oregon & Idaho! Thank every one of you for TAKING A STAND for Jesus in your state!”

Rather than to continue to rail on the Statesman’s editorial, I’ll let the story lead “speak” for itself:
A group of religious activists who want to inject their brand of Christianity into government are planning a rally at the Idaho State Capitol on Sunday. Sean Feucht and his group Hold the Line, along with Turning Point USA Faith, are holding rallies at the state Capitol buildings in all 50 states. This week, they’re descending on the buildings in Boise, Olympia, Washington, and Salem, Oregon, as part of their so-called Kingdom to the Capitol Tour.
Just one heads up for the Statesman and others with a tainted view of evangelistic outreaches on U.S. Capitol Building steps: Unlike your scoff at the tour name, both heaven and hell are not simply “so-called.” Do your research and keep seeking.
